Arabian Nights

Arabian night is very different then watching a movie on the big screen because in the movie you just sit there and watch the movie the only things that might amaze you is the vibration of the speakers and if the movie is 3-D you can put on 3-D glasses and watch it in 3-D might feel real because you think the things in the movie is coming at you in a realistic way. Then also you can’t talk to the actors when you are done watching the movie and I think it’s great to get to know the actors that is in the movie and there isn’t a intermission during a movie so you can go to the bathroom or get a quick snack but in Arabian nights is great watching it in person because I can actually see the setting of the play for example the lamps that was hanging and I can see when the lights dim or when they raise up and bring down the lamps unlike the movie I can touch the lamps. Then I can see the actors acting in the play, I can see the emotions they are going thru for example before the intermission when the king and his wife to be was about to kiss it felt real and see the emotion of the kiss that was about to happen. Then I thought the king was very interesting because I can see his facial expressions to the stories that were in the play. Then I like the being of the play when one of the actors blown fire toward the audience and I know it was real fire because I can see the heat vapors of the flames because in the movie I wouldn’t know if it was a stunt man blowing out the flames or blue screen. Also Arabian nights had a intermission which I thought was very smart because unlike a movie if you go out to get popcorn or go and use the bathroom u will miss a part of the movie and if came by yourself you might have to see the movie again or ask a friend that came with you what happen but in Arabian nights with the intermission people can go and use the bathroom or take a quick phone instead of interrupting the play. Then I can meet some of the actors that was in the play you can ask them how they feel about their role they are playing in Arabian nights. Then u can meet the director of the play and ask if how he feels about his production of the play which I had the honor of doing myself since he is my teacher. Then you can watch the mistakes that happen in the play un like a movie they edit all the mistakes the actors do in the movie because they want the movie perfect but in Arabian nights they was won mistake is when they did the story with bag and I thought that was very funny including the audience thought so. So I feel that play are better than movies because of the realism
